Don’t always believe the experts.
Should I preface that or add a disclaimer about which experts or why?
Tell you what. I’ll tell my story and you decide.
For years everyone has told me I was fat. They didn’t just say fat. They said “morbidly obese”, as in “you’re probably going to die soon you’re so fat”.
And it was always that darned BMI, or Body Mass Index, that dictated what the experts told me.
The Experts!
Here’s a photo of me during one of those fat periods. You decide if the so-called Experts are right…

This is me in all my fat-ness playing on a swing set after doing a 2 mile uphill trail run.
I’m not bragging either. It was a really slow trail run. I’m talking sloth speed.
But does this look obese to you?
I know there’s some love handles sticking out, but do you think I’ll die soon smothered in all my fat?
Those Experts are crazy!
That’s why I want you to be the right kind of Expert in your ‘thing’, whatever it is.
Do it the right way.
Hopefully, you downloaded my Rapid Skill Development guide from one of my previous messages. If you haven’t you can still grab it right HERE. I’ll be pulling it soon, though, for the next revision, so grab it now while you can.
Just be careful trusting those Experts and be the best one that you can when you get there.
On this body image and fat thing, I found a different way to measure myself. Other Experts, so to speak. If you want to read about my adventures with that, check out those posts at…

PS- On a bit of a side note, I have a membership community for people who want to be ready for anything. It’s not prepping like the stereotypical nutbag preppers, but moms and dads who want to make sure their families are safe.
It’s called Prepared (*), and there’s a free newsletter you can jump in on. Click HERE.
