I need some input from you on the best teambuilding movies out there. I’d love to get some ideas from you before I put together a poll to vote on the top ten.
My only caveat is that it has to be at least a small team and not a couple. For small team I’d go with 5 or more.
Here’s some ideas from my end…
- Oceans 11 series
- Uncommon Valor
- Expendables
- Ronin
- Reservoir Dogs
- Mission: Impossible
- Heat
Please feel free to nominate yours in the comments. Don’t worry about hitting any doubles. I’ll take that into consideration for the poll.
Thanks!
PS…After reviewing my list, I’m seeing that most of the team movies I like most involve illegal activities, so feel free to find some good guys too.

In the words of Starship Troopers, “Would you like to know more?”
A suggestion for The Replacements just came in through my Facebook page.
More from Facebook…
Pride 2007
Great Debater 2007
42 2013
Sugar 2008
Remember the Titans 2000
Eddie the Eagle 2016 (not treated as part of the team)

Some suggestions from my mastermind group…
Remember the Titans–entire movie is a leadership/team lesson…nuggets galore!!
When the Game Stands Tall (team is first…individual accomplishments are second)
Rudy (many don’t think about teamwork here, but Rudy is all about “the team” and he influences everyone around him)
Now You See Me (both)… each team mbr plays a pivotal role
Star Wars (just because it belongs on all “great movie” lists)… but many scenes are applicable–all loyal to the team mission & vision.
The Guardian
Mighty Ducks
Fast and Furious
any Disney sports movie
Facing the Giants
Woodlawn
any football movie
Glory Road – I use it everytime I train or speak on teambuilding
